The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse at Lenzie Golf Club is available to book for all types of functions and events. As well as regular social nights for members and guests, a member/social member of the club can book the clubhouse for all types of function. The clubhouse can hold up to 100 guests and has a well-stocked bar, dancefloor area and a number of buffet options are available.

Currently on draught:

A full selection of bottled beers, spirits, malt whiskys, wines and soft drinks are also available from the Bar.

Not to be outdone by Paul James and his Jessiman team success, last Thursday, Team Captain Jim Wylie led our Past Captain’s team to success against Hayston, who had won this competition for the last 2 years.
Our valiant players were Ken Forrest partnered with David Noblett, Nicky Souter with David Edgar and the stars of the night Kenny MacKinnon and Lex Campbell.
The overall team score was that Lenzie won by 7 holes.[Kenny and Lex won their tussle 10 up. - Wow!]

On Sunday 6th May Paul James and his team faced the difficult task of playing against last year’s finalists – Balmore at home and managed to do very well indeed.
Our first pairing was Gordon Sinclair and Ian Hutchison who won 3 up. They were followed by Billy Gibson and John Somerville who kept the momentum going by winning 2 up. The final 2 pairs of David Edgar with Mark McBride and John Kupsky and Stevie Paul won 5 and 6 up respectively giving the team an overall win of Plus 16. WOW!!

Congratulations go to Paul and his ‘boys’ on a marvellous start to the Jessiman challenge.
