Admin Assistant Required

As part of our ongoing process to modernise the finance/administration element of our structure we require to employ an Administrative Assistant (part-time).

We are therefore seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates who consider they have the skill set to undertake the tasks noted below. At present the job profile has been advertised on our Facebook Page and Website. If no suitable candidate is found by this route it shall be advertised externally.

SALARY: This will be subject to negotiation but it is expected to be circa £17,500 - £18,000 (full-time salary equivalent).

HOURS: We propose to adopt a flexible attitude to the proposed working hours. It is envisaged the  preferred candidate would work 14 - 17 ½ hours per week subject to final agreement. This  could be achieved by working full days, half days (mornings or afternoons), or a combination of both options.

JOB PROFILE: The tasks to be undertaken are detailed below:-

ADMIN ASSISTANCE TASKS/REQUIREMENTS

Hand out membership bag tags, golf diaries etc.

Maintain membership categories.

Assist Finance Officer in preparation of subscription renewals and issue and collection of same.

Assist Finance Officer in logging invoices and distribution to appropriate spend profile.

Keep a correspondence log. Mail/email forwarded to proper person. Ensure responses have been sent.

Answer telephone, take messages and forward calls received to appropriate person for action.

Filing.

Overseeing Electronic Diary including coordination of contributors.

Other duties as instructed by Management Team.
